As part of the EU RFCS project SymbioSteel, this webinar aims to bring together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, technology providers, and sustainability experts to explore the latest developments and innovations in industrial symbiosis, and how industrial symbiosis can support the transformation of the steel value chain towards greater sustainability, resource efficiency, and circularity.
The event will showcase innovative practices, emerging technologies, research findings, and real-world experiences that demonstrate how collaboration across industries can enhance resource utilization and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient steel ecosystem. The event is dedicated to fostering cross-industry dialogue and collaboration, accelerating the development and implementation of industrial symbiosis in the steel sector.
The 90-minute event will showcase innovative practices, emerging technologies, research findings, and real-world experiences that demonstrate how collaboration across industries can enhance resource utilization and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient steel ecosystem. Participants will also have opportunities to discover emerging technologies and best practices, exchange ideas across sectors, build new collaborations, and explore pathways to a circular and climate-neutral steel industry.
